Terms of Service for WebPImg

Introduction

Welcome to WebPImg (the "Site"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WebPImg website and the image conversion tools provided by WebPImg. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

Description of Service

WebPImg provides a free tool designed to convert and optimize image files (such as JPG, PNG, and others) into the WebP format.

Transient Processing: To perform the conversion, your images are transmitted to WebPImg's servers. However, WebPImg processes your files exclusively in temporary memory. WebPImg does not save your images to permanent storage, databases, or logs. Once the conversion is complete and the file is delivered to your browser, the image data is immediately deleted from WebPImg's servers.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• ☄ Use the Site for any illegal purpose or to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts.
• ☄ Convert images that violate copyright laws or intellectual property rights of third parties.
• ☄ Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Site.
• ☄ Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers or networks connected to the Site.
• ☄ Overwhelm WebPImg's servers with automated requests or excessive traffic. Note that rate limits apply (currently 300 requests per minute per user).

Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the images you upload. WebPImg does not claim any ownership over your files. You grant WebPImg a limited license to process your image solely for the purpose of providing the conversion service. Since WebPImg does not store your files, this license expires the moment the conversion process is finished.

Site Content: The design, layout, look, appearance, and graphics of the Site are owned by or licensed to WebPImg. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are proprietary to WebPImg.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. WebPImg makes no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. WebPImg does not guarantee that the results of the image conversion will meet your requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WebPImg will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Site.

Changes to Terms

WebPImg reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. WebPImg will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
